01.Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you:
- Submit our contact form, free assessment, or newsletter sign-up
- Book a consultation through our website or scheduling tools
- Engage us through a signed retainer agreement
- Communicate with us by email, phone, or messaging apps
This may include your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, immigration history, and any documents or details you choose to share with us.
We also collect limited technical information automatically — such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL — through standard server logs and analytics.
02.How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide preliminary guidance
- Prepare your immigration assessment or strategy
- Deliver and administer the services outlined in your retainer
- Communicate updates about your case and our services
- Improve our website and service quality
- Comply with regulatory and legal obligations under CICC, IRCC, and applicable laws
05.Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), restricted internal access, and regular review of our security practices.
No method of online transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
06.Data retention
Client case records are retained for the period required by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) — typically a minimum of six years after the close of the file.
Information from non-clients (e.g., assessment leads who did not engage us) is retained for up to two years and then deleted, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
07.Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to our regulatory retention obligations
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
These rights apply under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and India's Information Technology Act and applicable rules. Email us at info@nestabroadimmigration.com to exercise any of these rights.
08.International data transfers
NestAbroad Immigration operates offices in Canada and India. Your information may be processed in either country, and may be subject to lawful access by authorities of either jurisdiction.
09.Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parent or guardian consent. If you believe we have collected such information in error, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10.Updates to this policy
