Exciting news for caregivers! Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has officially announced the launch date for its new Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots – opening on March 31, 2025! 🗓️
These new pilots will replace the previous permanent residence (PR) pathways for caregivers, allowing eligible home care workers to receive PR upon arrival. 🎉
✅ Who is Eligible?
To qualify for these new pathways, foreign nationals must:
🔹 Have CLB 4 language proficiency 🗣️
🔹 Hold the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma 🎓
🔹 Have recent and relevant work experience 👩⚕️
🔹 Secure a full-time job offer in home care 💼
🔹 Important Update: As of June 16, 2024, candidates under previous caregiver programs only needed 6 months of eligible experience to qualify for PR.
