Exciting news for caregivers! Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has officially announced the launch date for its new Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots – opening on March 31, 2025! πŸ—“οΈ

These new pilots will replace the previous permanent residence (PR) pathways for caregivers, allowing eligible home care workers to receive PR upon arrival. πŸŽ‰

βœ… Who is Eligible?

To qualify for these new pathways, foreign nationals must:
πŸ”Ή Have CLB 4 language proficiency πŸ—£οΈ
πŸ”Ή Hold the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma πŸŽ“
πŸ”Ή Have recent and relevant work experience πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ
πŸ”Ή Secure a full-time job offer in home care πŸ’Ό

πŸ”Ή Important Update: As of June 16, 2024, candidates under previous caregiver programs only needed 6 months of eligible experience to qualify for PR.
