The Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The already present foreign worker class is a perfect choice for Canadian Permanent Residency. These workers, who have already adapted to the Canadian work culture and habitation can apply for a permanent residency under this program. The candidates must make a statement of interest for moving to Canada permanently. This will require them to create an Express Entry Profile online with the Canadian Immigration and get an invite for Permanent Residency.

Requirements for CEC:

Candidates must meet the following requirements :

  • Have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equivalent in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years. This experience must have been obtained while on a valid work permit and needs to be in one or more occupations classified as skill type 0, A or B under the National Occupational Classification (NOC). The one year of experience can be gained in two different NOC codes, as long as they are skilled positions and the work experience is gained legally;
